This reed is designed for the basic range of the instrument, allowing each player to become easily acquainted with the bassoon.
We would suggest all first year players start with Medium Soft or Medium reeds. After the embouchure is more developed, consider a Medium Hard strength or the Artist Series reeds if playing for more than 1 year.
